Christian P. Klein, like his brother, Charles H. Klein, who preceded him in death less than six months ago, labored thruout life in what was termed a meteoric industrial career of two brothers. At his death the deceased was vice president of the C. H. Klein Brick Company, Minnesota Sand & Gravel Company, and treasurer of the Wunder-Klein-Donohue Company. He was also vice president of the First National Bank of Madison, and Victoria State Bank, Victoria. Quiet and unassuming, Christ P. Klein enjoyed working outdoors – taking care of his home, flowers, etc., up to the time of his passing. The evening before he died the 86-year-old gentleman made preparations for a busy week that never materialized. Many associates joined relatives and friends in paying final respects. Arrangements were handled by Pearson & Gastler Funeral Service. (Weekly Valley Herald, Thursday, June 7, 1962, Volume C, Number 9, Page 6)
