The 1870 United States census showed Frank Kelly (age 25, born in Canada) living in Lucas, Wisconsin.

The 1880 United States census showed Frank Kelly (age 38, born in Canada, farmer and brickmaker) living in Menomonie, Wisconsin.

On October 26, 1880, Frank Kelley married Mary Springwood in Dunn County, Wisconsin.

The 1895 Minnesota census showed Frank Kelley (age 50, born in New York, manufacturer of brick) married to Mary (age 39) and living in Twin Lakes Township, Carlton County, Minnesota. Children Frank W. (age 9, born in Wisconsin), Flass M. (age 5, born in Wisconsin), Carlines (age 3, born in Wisconsin), and Claira (age 1, born in Wisconsin) all lived with the couple.

There was a fire September 26, originating on Secs. 27 and 30, Township 48, Range 16, along the N. P. R. R. It burnt over 1,500 acres of all kinds of hard timber, destroying timber, hay, wood and fences and doing damage to the amount of $5,000. Weather was dry and warm with high winds. Seventy-five persons were called to help extinguish it, which was done in six days after it started by plowing, backfiring, digging, etc. I. F. Jagger, Frank Kelly and Fred Haubagger, all of Wrenshall, rendered particularly praiseworthy service. Mary Kelly (Springwood) died in Wrenshall, Minnesota, on May 12, 1897.

The 1900 United States census showed Frank Kelly (age 54, born in May 1846 in New York, superintendent of brickyard) widowed and living in Twin Lakes Township, Carlton County, Minnesota. Children Carl S. (age 10, born in June 1889 in Wisconsin) and Clara M. (age 7, born in April 1893 in Wisconsin) also lived with Frank.

The 1905 Minnesota census showed Frank Kelly (age 59, born in Ireland, brickmaker) living with Clara (age 37, born in Illinois) and living in Wrenshall, Minnesota. Children Carl (age 13, born in Minnesota), Clara (age 11, born in Minnesota), and Elenor (age 4, born in Minnesota) all lived with the couple.

The 1910 United States census showed Frank Kelley (age 64, born in New York, fruit farmer) living in Kennewick, Washington. Children Carl D. (age 18, born in Wisconsin), Clara M. (age 16, born in Minnesota), and Eleanor (age 8, born in Minnesota) also lived with Frank.

Died in Dunn County, Wisconsin, in December 1915.
