Died peacefully on June 6, 2010 in Apache Junction, AZ A life-long resident of the St. Paul area, John was born October 15, 1940 to John H. Donohue, III and Bette Donohue. John graduated from St. Thomas Academy and attended St. Michael's College in Santa Fe, NM.  He was the third generation to lead Corning-Donohue, Inc., a former St. Paul brick and building materials distributorship co-founded by his grandfather in 1916.  He was active in the industry on a national scale, having served on the board of the National Association of Brick Distributors, and as a director and president of the Ceramic Tile Distributors Association.  In addition, John served as a trainer for the St. Paul Saints hockey team in the 1960s and was also involved in various civic activities, including the St. Paul Winter Carnival Royal Guard in 1966.  John is survived by wife, Doreen of Gold Canyon, AZ; son, Nicholas (Heather) of Montclair, NJ; siblings, Kathleen Donohue, Patrick (Susan) Donohue, and Mary Ellen LaMotte, all of the St. Paul area; grandchildren, Claire and Lachlan Donohue of Montclair, NJ; nieces, Melissa Marcotte of Montreal, Quebec, Sarah ("Daisy") Donohue of St. Paul, and nephew, James Marcotte of Grand Mere, Quebec; ex-spouse and dear friend, Alice Gallivan of St. Paul; and many cousins.  He is also survived by step-children, Michelle Lemke of Delano, MN and Michael (Shelly) Ramirez, of Burnsville, MN, and step-grandchildren, Ashley Coen, Derek Lemke, and MaKayla Ramirez.  John was preceded in death by his parents and by his sister Vicki Marcotte Arnold.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, June 12th at 11:00 AM at The Church of the Assumption at 57 W. 7th St. in St. Paul.  Visitation Friday, June 11th from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM at O'Halloran & Murphy, 575 S. John Henry Donohue IV was born October 15, 1940 to John H. Donohue III and Elizabeth Lux.  He graduated from St. Thomas Academy in St. Paul and then attended St. Michael’s College in Santa Fe, New Mexico.  John IV was active in the industry on a national scale having served on the board of the National Association of Brick Distributors, and as a Director and President of the Ceramic Tile Distributors Association.  He served as a trainer with the St. Paul Fighting Saints Hockey team in the 1960s and was a member of the Winter Guard involved with the St. Paul Winter Carnival in 1966.  John IV married Alice Gallivan, the couple had one son.  He later married Doreen (?) Donohue.  John IV died on June 6, 2010.
