The Brinkhaus – Wolf Wedding. "Mr. John Brinkhaus and Miss Louisa Wolf were marred at St. John’s Catholic Church yesterday morning. The Rev. Father Antonius made them one, in presence of a large circle of invited relatives. The bride was attended by Miss Maimie Weiland of Shakopee, and the groom by Mr. Joseph Brinkhaus of Chaska. The Sodality band, of which the groom has been a member since its organization, furnished music for the entire services. A bountiful wedding dinner was served at the home of the bride’s parents to the numerous immediate relatives, and the festivities continued well into the night. Many handsome, valuable and useful presents were presented the bride. Mrs. Brinkhaus was a social favorite with all her young acquaintances, who regret to see her depart to her future home in Chaska."
