When Peter L. Becker died, the brickyard business was continued by his son-in-law, Joseph Albrecht, Jr. The clay diminished over time and brickyard closed.
Joseph Albrecht (son of Mathias Albrecht and Mary Fey) was born September 28, 1866, in Burlington, Wisconsin. Joseph married Martha Magdalena Becker on April 25, 1893, in Belle Plaine, Minnesota. Magdalena was the daughter of Peter Becker and Katharina Peifer. Children of Joseph Albrecht and Martha Magdalena Becker were: Lawrence Luke, Clara Maria, Agens Margaret, Alfred Joseph, Raymond Christian, Beatrix Mary, Urban Francis, Joseph Henry, and Marcella Dorothy. Joseph died February 7, 1942, in St. Paul, Minnesota.
