Minnesota City. A village of about 400 inhabitants in the eastern part of Winona county, 6 miles from Winona, the county seat, and 105 from St. Paul. Also at the junction of the C., M. & St. P. and the C. & N. W. railroads, and on the Rollingstone river, which latter affords water power here for driving 2 flouring mills. A steam brewery is in operation in the place. Flour is the principal export product. Contains a Baptist church and a graded school. Telegraph, Northwestern. Express, American.
